Descope, a customer and agentic identity platform, was named to Rising in Cyber 2026, an annual list published by Notable Capital. The selection reflects input from security leaders and was presented as a way to highlight private cybersecurity startups being adopted for pressing security needs.
Rising in Cyber, now in its third year, is described as an independent annual list launched by Notable Capital. The list recognized 30 private cybersecurity startups and used voting by 150 active CISOs and senior security executives to determine honorees.
The announcement said Descope’s inclusion connects to areas including identity and access management, agentic AI security, security operations, and application defense. It also described Descope as a drag and drop identity provider for customer apps and AI agents, positioned around creating and modifying authentication and authorization journeys without custom code.
Notable Capital described a private recognition event on May 12 associated with the list. Oren Yunger said, “Security is now moving from a constraint to an enabler on how fast AI can actually scale inside the enterprise. The 150 CISOs who voted on this list understand that better than anyone,” said Oren Yunger, Managing Partner, Notable Capital. Descope said its CEO Slavik Markovich stated, “Identity is critical to securing and scaling AI inside the enterprise. This recognition from the CISO community is powerful validation of the need for purpose-built infrastructure for agentic identities. Congratulations to the other security innovators named to Rising in Cyber!”
