Como, an AI-native resilience platform still in stealth, was named to the Disruptor 60 list compiled by Greenfield Partners and unveiled at TechCrunch Disrupt. The recognition points to the company’s work on applying AI to a gap in enterprise security.
Unplanned downtime now costs Global 2000 companies $600 billion a year, a 50% increase over two years. Within enterprise security, recovery still depends on a plan and annual tests.
The platform uses AI to continuously analyze the full recovery stack, including backups, infrastructure, dependencies, and recovery plans. It determines what will recover, what will fail, and how potential issues can be addressed before an incident occurs. Como runs on top of the existing stack, across multi-vendor backups and both on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
The company was recognized for using AI to identify hidden risks and continuously test critical systems, providing proof of recovery before an incident takes place. Como works in both on-prem and cloud environments and requires no rip and replace of the backup and recovery tools enterprises already use.
Ron Blachar, co-founder and CEO of Como, said, “Enterprises invest heavily in preventing and detecting cyberattacks, but recovery is often treated as an assumption rather than something that can be measured and proven.”
Blachar said, “We built Como to give organizations the confidence that if an incident occurs, their systems will recover and their business can keep moving. Being named to the AI Disruptors list, even before we publicly launched Como, is a great honor for us.”
