Commvault achieves AWS resilience competency status

Commvault obtained the AWS Resilience Competency designation focused on recovery, confirming its role as an AWS Partner providing solutions to enhance system availability and resilience. This status underscores Commvault's support for critical systems across AWS and hybrid-cloud environments.

The designation recognizes Commvault's technical capabilities and documented customer results in helping users meet resilience objectives. It highlights Commvault's involvement in aiding the recovery process from cyber incidents, cloud service interruptions, and data integrity issues in AWS native, hybrid, and multi-cloud settings.

Commvault's offerings encompass protections for a range of AWS workloads, such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), and Amazon DynamoDB. These capabilities are delivered via the cloud-native Commvault Cloud platform, supplemented by integrations with both global system integrators and cybersecurity partners tailored for AWS deployments.

The company recently facilitated easier access to its portfolio through a multi-product listing on the AWS Marketplace. This listing includes Commvault Cloud, Cloud Rewind, and Clumio, covering multiple facets of cyber resilience and data protection suitable for AWS environments.

Rajiv Kottomtharayil, Chief Product Officer at Commvault, said, “Achieving the AWS Resilience Competency reflects Commvault's dedication to providing solutions that strengthen their resilience when using AWS. Organizations today face increasing pressure to protect their data from cyber threats, operational disruptions, and the rapid adoption of AI. Our cloud-native platform delivers the visibility, automation, and recovery intelligence needed to keep critical workloads secure and available on AWS. By leveraging AWS, we're enabling customers to build a more resilient future with confidence.”

Commvault outlined plans to continue supporting AWS customers in protecting, recovering, and restoring critical data across various AWS services, promoting cyber resilience through its integrated solutions and partnerships.
