Cohesity introduced Cohesity Agent Resilience, a Cohesity Data Cloud capability intended to discover, protect, and recover infrastructure used by AI agents. The company positioned the capability as part of a broader approach to automate cyber resilience.
The update also described an “Autonomous Cyber Resilience” vision that uses agentic workflows to automate elements of a five-step cyber resilience framework. Cohesity said the framework covers protecting data, identity, applications, and agents; ensuring recoverability; remediating cyber and AI threats; practicing application recovery; and optimizing data and AI risk posture.
Agent Resilience at launch is designed to protect agent memory and configuration. Cohesity said it uses snapshot architecture, immutable backups, and clean-room recovery for protections across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments. The company said it offers point-in-time recovery capabilities to restore agents to a known-good state after issues such as memory corruption, misconfiguration, or malicious activity.
Cohesity said the capability can also protect databases, file systems, and other services agents interact with to enable precise recovery of affected resources. The company outlined that its Autonomous Cyber Resilience model would define objectives through Cohesity Copilot rather than manually configuring policies, and it cited the Cohesity RecoveryAgent and Cohesity Maestro. “Detection can tell you an AI agent went off course. It cannot undo the changes. Cohesity Agent Resilience provides a precise recovery path for both the agents and the resources they impact. Our vision for Autonomous Cyber Resilience is to use agentic workflows to reduce manual work from response and recovery,” said Vasu Murthy, Chief Product Officer, Cohesity.
Cohesity said Agent Resilience is available now to select customers, with general availability targeted for the end of 2026, and it also launched the Cohesity AI Resilience Academy as a free, self-paced learning path focused on concepts. Cohesity said automated protection for newly discovered sensitive data is available to customers with Cohesity Data Cloud Enterprise Edition and Cohesity DSPM.
