Cloudflare launches Cloudforce One threat events platform for real-time cyber threat intelligence

Cloudflare has announced the launch of the Cloudforce One threat events platform, designed to provide real-time intelligence on cyberattacks by leveraging data from its extensive global network. In Q4 2024, this network blocked an average of 227 billion cyber threats each day. The platform aims to enhance security team efficiency by enabling quicker identification and resolution of threats, allowing organizations to stay ahead of cybercriminal tactics and targeting strategies. The abilities of Cloudforce One are intended to fill gaps often found in traditional threat intelligence feeds, which may lack timely or contextual information on threats. Matthew Prince, Cloudflare's co-founder and CEO, emphasized the importance of reliable threat feeds and the company's access to complete threat intelligence through its global network. This capability allows users to gain insights into emerging risks and Indicators of Compromise (IOC) that could potentially impact organizational security. The new platform offers several features, including: - A singular view of attack patterns across the Internet, enabling organizations to analyze attack details with relevant, contextual information. - Personalized intelligence based on specific environments, industries, or regions, providing users with actionable insights related to the threat landscape. - Enhanced operational efficiency for security teams by prioritizing the most immediate threats, allowing optimal use of resources. Blake Darché, Head of Cloudforce One, stated that the platform is designed to keep users focused on pertinent threats, eliminating irrelevant information that can lead to inefficiencies in threat response. The Cloudforce One platform is now available for organizations looking to improve their threat intelligence capabilities and overall security posture.
