CloudBees to Debut State of Code Abundance 2026 at Summit

CloudBees scheduled a virtual event, Agentic DevOps World 2026: The AI Software Delivery Summit, for May 19, with a live debut of its State of Code Abundance 2026 report. The report and summit focus on governance, cost, and production risks tied to AI-driven software delivery.

The event is set to bring together CIOs, CTOs, and VPs of Engineering to review what the company described as emerging challenges in governance, cost visibility, and production reliability. CloudBees said the report drew on input from over 200 enterprise technology leaders.

CloudBees framed the agenda around agentic software delivery themes, including productivity and ROI measurement, AI code trust gaps, and token consumption and cost escalation. The program also includes “token anxiety,” described as challenges echoing early days of cloud adoption.

Sessions were outlined around “The Abundance Paradox + The Market Shift,” “What Code Abundance Means for Your SDLC,” “Agentic Development in Practice,” and “From Code Abundance to Delivery Confidence.” The summit also featured planned speakers including CloudBees CEO Anuj Kapur, CloudBees CPO Shawn Ahmed, and Loreli Cadapan, among others, with inputs tied to the State of Code Abundance 2026 report.

“There are both massive opportunities and notable risks with AI-driven software development. While we’ve seen gains in code development velocity, we’re also seeing the cracks in governance, cost predictability, and clarity around who actually owns the code coming out the other end,” said Anuj Kapur, CEO of CloudBees.
