Carahsoft Technology Corp. receives NASPO ValuePoint cloud and software contract

Carahsoft Technology Corp. received a NASPO ValuePoint Cloud and Software Solutions contract awarded by the State of Utah that provided the lead state and other participating states, educational institutions and local agencies access to cloud technologies through Carahsoft’s authorized reseller partners and cloud solutions providers.

NASPO ValuePoint operates as the cooperative purchasing division of NASPO and used a Lead State Model to aggregate demand across all 50 States, the District of Columbia, the U.S. territories, their political subdivisions and other eligible entities, delivering competitively sourced cooperative contracts along with favorable terms and value-added services.

The award encompassed categories defined in the solicitation, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), on-premise offerings and value-added services, reflecting the scope of technologies made available under the contract.

The State of Utah completed a competitive solicitation and a thorough evaluation process before making the awards, and Carahsoft’s existing State of Utah Cloud Solutions NASPO ValuePoint contract remained active and available through September 15, 2026.

“NASPO ValuePoint enables Government agencies to leverage cloud technology while promoting innovative and efficient procurement,” said Robert R. Moore, Vice President of Contracts at Carahsoft. “The contract helps agencies build secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud infrastructures that meet evolving operational and compliance requirements. Carahsoft and our reseller partners are committed to providing simplified access to our extensive portfolio of cloud solutions for the Public Sector.”

The new contract was set to go into effect on September 16, 2026, and run through September 15, 2036.
