Atos and Gulf Cyberfender Hub (GCH) completed plans to open an AI-driven Security Operations Center (SOC) in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE-based facility is intended to support locally operated security monitoring, detection, and incident response.
Atos said the center aligns with national cyber resilience priorities by retaining security operations within the UAE and supporting governance and compliance with UAE Information Assurance Standards and National Electronic Security Authority requirements. The organizations also described the SOC as providing local data residency.
Atos said the SOC uses advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven operations for threat detection, investigation, and response. The company also said Agentic AI is used to reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR). The center collaborates with the Atos Global Threat Research Center for curated threat intelligence informed by global visibility and tailored to the local and regional threat landscape.
