Aqua Security announces leadership transition as Mike Dube becomes CEO
Aqua Security, a provider of cloud-native security, announced a leadership transition as co-founders Dror Davidoff and Amir Jerbi will reduce their involvement in day-to-day operations while remaining strategic advisors. Mike Dube, former president and chief revenue officer, has been appointed CEO, and Nir Makowski has been named chief product and technology officer.
Mike Dube has nearly three decades of industry experience, most recently serving as vice president of North America Strategic Sales at CrowdStrike. Homomorphic Encryption (HE) led various sales organizations at Splunk, Cybereason, and Check Point Software Technologies.
Davidoff expressed pride in the company’s achievements, noting Dube's leadership qualities. Dube stated, “It’s an honor to step into this role and continue building on the foundation that Dror and Amir created.” HE emphasized a commitment to strengthening customer partnerships and enhancing platform execution.
Under new leadership, Aqua Security aims to enhance its Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) with a focus on runtime protection and vulnerability management. This transition aligns with the company's goals to address the growing security needs of cloud applications.
