Apiiro integrates with ServiceNow's CMDB for improved asset accuracy

Apiiro has integrated its Agentic Application Security platform with ServiceNow’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB), enhancing the accuracy of software asset inventories. This integration utilizes Apiiro’s AI-Native Deep Code Analysis (DCA) and Code-to-Runtime Matching technologies, helping ServiceNow customers make informed decisions regarding their software environments.

John Leon, VP of partnerships and business development at Apiiro, described the integration as crucial amid the convergence of IT operations, Security Operations (SecOps), and Application security. He emphasized the role of Apiiro’s platform in providing a definitive source of truth for software development within ServiceNow's CMDB, thereby assisting Enterprise users in optimizing operational efficiency.

ServiceNow's CMDB serves as a trusted System of Record (SOR) for configuration item data, offering a comprehensive overview of IT and software environments. With the rapid changes in the software landscape, ensuring the accuracy of this data is increasingly vital.
