Aviz Networks organizes SONiC PlugFest 2025 with Keysight Technologies to evaluate SONiC readiness

Aviz Networks announced the organization of SONiC PlugFest 2025, a multi-vendor event aimed at assessing the readiness of the SONiC networking software. The initiative targets current and prospective SONiC users by providing a platform for hands-on validation of SONiC's operational capabilities.

The event is positioned to support decision-making processes related to SONiC adoption through comprehensive testing that extends beyond laboratory environments. Participants will gain access to detailed technical reports, analyses of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and migration strategies informed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, facilitating a thorough evaluation of network deployments.

The PlugFest will employ various SONiC platforms and leverage Keysight Technologies’ traffic generators to conduct standardized benchmark tests. This approach aims to provide consistent and neutral quality assessments of SONiC’s performance and deployment readiness at Aviz’s SONiC ONE Center in San Jose.

The collaboration includes contributions from both Aviz Networks, focused on AI-driven networking solutions, and Keysight Technologies, which provides testing tools and expertise. Aviz's role encompasses leveraging prior engagements with large corporate clients to deliver insights and technical documentation, while Keysight ensures test content adequacy through its validation tools.
