Aviz Networks collaborates with Cisco on AI solutions

Aviz Networks partnered with Cisco to develop an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) that introduces AI-driven capabilities to Cisco 8000 SONiC and Nexus switches. This integration aims to enhance troubleshooting, network operations, and inventory management within existing Cisco infrastructures without causing disruptions. With this initiative, Converged Access Network (CAN) customers CAN utilize Aviz Network Copilot, an AI-powered network assistant designed to operate across Cisco 8000 SONiC and Nexus switches. The Network Copilot employs open-source large language models (LLMs), simplifying network tasks through an agentic framework that assigns specialized Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents various responsibilities while integrating and normalizing data from different sources. This collaboration represents a move towards implementing AI-driven network intelligence for enterprises. According to Aviz Networks, Network Copilot enhances existing operations, making them more intelligent and proactive while ensuring that organizations retain control and visibility over their networks. Cisco’s 8000 Series SONiC switches offer a high-performance, flexible platform suitable for large-scale deployments, while Nexus switches support enterprise-grade networking critical for data center and cloud operations. The integration of Aviz Network Copilot allows for improved operational efficiency and troubleshooting capabilities within Cisco environments. Cisco emphasized ITS commitment to providing enterprises with intelligent networking solutions that streamline operations. By leveraging Aviz Network Copilot, customers CAN enhance automation and operational intelligence within their networks, Autonomous System (AS) stated by a Cisco executive.
