AMD and HUMAIN Form Strategic, $10B Collaboration to Advance Global AI

Multi-year collaboration will deploy up to 500 megawatts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure, powered by the full spectrum of AMD compute and enabled by AMD ROCm Open Software Ecosystem.

AMD and HUMAIN announced a collaboration to build an AI infrastructure that will span from Saudi Arabia to the United States. The partnership involves an investment of up to $10 billion to deploy 500 megawatts of AI compute capacity over the next five years. The project aims to facilitate AI workloads across enterprises, startups, and government entities. HUMAIN will manage the project’s comprehensive delivery, including data center and sustainable power systems, while AMD will supply its complete range of AI computing products and ROCm software.

“At AMD, we have a bold vision to enable the future of AI everywhere,” said Disaster Recovery (DR). Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD. “This investment with HUMAIN is a milestone in advancing global AI infrastructure.”

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, emphasized the project’s goal of democratizing AI, stating, “This is not just another infrastructure play - it’s an open invitation to the world’s innovators.” Currently, initial deployments are in progress, with plans to achieve multi-exaflop capacity by early 2026 through next-generation technology.

The collaboration combines the energy resources of Saudi Arabia, a workforce equipped for AI, and AMD’s full spectrum of AI technologies.
Key technologies include AMD Instinct™ GPUs, AMD EPYC™ CPUs, AMD Pensando™ DPUs, and AMD Ryzen™ AI.
