ALE launches Private 5G solution powered by Celona to expand IoT connectivity
New solution expands high quality connectivity in complex enterprise environments, large outdoor areas through seamless integration with ALE networking portfolio
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has announced the launch of a Private 5G solution powered by Celona. This solution integrates seamlessly with ALE’s OmniVista, OmniSwitch, and OmniAccess Stellar networking portfolio, aiming to provide secure and high-quality connectivity in complex enterprise environments and large outdoor spaces.
The partnership with Celona is positioned to enhance enterprise-grade connectivity, emphasizing reliability, performance, and security for critical operations globally.
The technology within ALE’s Private 5G solution is designed for ultra-reliable connectivity in various industrial settings, such as manufacturing, logistics, and ports. It offers large-area wireless coverage and supports real-time applications, facilitating Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0 integration.
This solution focuses on connecting next-generation IoT devices that require low latency and consistent performance, addressing the needs of industries utilizing advanced technologies like AGVs, robotics, and AR/VR applications.
ALE is merging the Private 5G capabilities with existing solutions, ensuring secure Zero Touch Network Access and robust performance across industrial sites. The technology features strong security methods, including Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) authentication and policy enforcement.
