Actelis Networks, Inc. said it won a purchase order tied to a network modernization program for the U.S. Marine Corps. The company’s stated goal was to provide cyber-hardened VoIP services for 65 buildings using its networking technology deployed in days.
The program described involves modernization of mission-critical communications and is based on using existing infrastructure to avoid running new fiber across a military base. Actelis said the engagement included hardware and software, along with installation, training, and ongoing support by integrators.
Actelis described its networking approach as cyber-hardened, fiber-grade technology applied to existing wires. The company said the solution uses advanced signal processing to achieve fiber-grade performance without replacing wiring with fiber, aiming to reduce the time required for installation.
Actelis said the deployment would be implemented by HammerTech and Allegiance and estimated total investment at approximately $0.5 million. The company also stated that its solutions were certified by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), FIPS certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and listed on the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List. “I am proud to see our technology playing a role in modernizing mission-critical communications for the U.S. Marine Corps,” said Tuvia Barlev, Chairman and CEO of Actelis.
Actelis included forward-looking statements in the release and said future results could differ from expectations due to risks and uncertainties described in its filings.
