Simbian partners with NuSummit on CognixMDR integration
Simbian and NuSummit Cybersecurity announced a strategic partnership in which NuSummit purchased Simbian’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) SOC product to integrate it into NuSummit’s CognixMDR service to provide autonomous threat detection and response.
The companies said the collaboration addressed security challenges enterprises faced entering 2026, noting that in-house Security Operations (SecOps) teams were often overwhelmed by alert volumes, experienced shortages of skilled security personnel, and confronted increasingly sophisticated AI-armed attacks.
Simbian’s AI SOC functions as a virtual security analyst that automatically investigates, triages, and responds to alerts generated by a range of security tools, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Extended detection and response (XDR), and Endpoint Detection And Response (EDR). The product was described as built on a proprietary TrustedLLM™ architecture and the Simbian Context Lake™ and it understands each customer’s Standard Operating Procedures and business environment, resolving up to 90% of alerts without human intervention.
NuSummit purchased Simbian’s flagship AI SOC product to power CognixMDR. CognixMDR is now generally available to customers globally.
“At NuSummit, we are committed to helping our clients navigate the most intricate cybersecurity challenges,” said Sameer Shelke, President, NuSummit, and CEO, NuSummit Cybersecurity.
“Security is a domain of ever-increasing complexity where every incident brings new variables,” said Ambuj Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO of Simbian. “Our partnership with NuSummit is a significant step toward our mission of making autonomous security accessible to everyone. By integrating our AI SOC into CognixMDR, we are enabling NuSummit to deliver customers a faster, more scalable path to strategic defense.” The companies described plans for 24/7 autonomous monitoring with human oversight.
