Innatera showcases Pulsar chip at SEMICON India
Innatera highlighted its Pulsar chip at SEMICON India 2025, emphasizing its potential applications in smart smoke detection and human-machine interactions. This chip is designed for ultra-low-power, real-time intelligence that caters to a variety of environments.
Aaroh Labs collaborated with Innatera to showcase smoke detection technology that can differentiate among various smoke types. The goal of this partnership is to enhance awareness and improve life-saving measures during fire incidents in both residential and commercial spaces.
Furthermore, CYRAN Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions introduced gesture recognition solutions that leverage Innatera's neuromorphic technology for Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications. This integration aims to refine user experiences across different devices, including wearables and industrial controls.
During the event, Innatera also took part in the India-Netherlands Roundtable to facilitate talks among industry and government leaders on semiconductor innovation and supply chain matters.
The Pulsar chip operates using Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs), which enable sensor-rich devices to process data locally without dependence on cloud-based AI solutions. This advancement responds to the growing demand for efficient, on-device AI processing.
