Extreme Networks Appoints Anisha Vaswani as Chief Information and Customer Officer
Company creates new executive role to drive the interlock between innovation and customer experience
Anisha Vaswani has been appointed as Chief Information and Customer Officer at Extreme Networks. Reporting directly to President and CEO Ed Meyercord, she will develop the company’s IT strategy to align technology investments with business objectives and growth.
In her role, Vaswani will focus on internal innovation and customer success. Acting as “Extreme’s Customer ONE,” she will test and validate products before customer rollout to ensure quality. Additionally, she will oversee customer success initiatives, engaging with clients to facilitate technology migrations and enhance customer relationships.
Ed Meyercord noted, “At Extreme, we believe technology and customer experience must be seamlessly integrated, which is why we created the CICO role. Anisha is the perfect candidate to ensure that every innovation enhances the customer journey.” Her background in cloud adoption and cybersecurity is expected to contribute to the company's goals.
Previously, Vaswani held multiple CIO roles at companies including IDG, Box, and Toast, where she contributed to significant revenue growth and strategic initiatives.
