More About Türk Telekom
Türk Telekom is a telecommunications group in Türkiye that provides fixed voice, mobile, broadband, and digital services through a converged infrastructure used by consumers, enterprises, and public institutions. The company operates a nationwide fixed network combined with mobile access and IP-based services, which allows organizations to procure integrated connectivity and communication capabilities from a single provider. This positioning targets use cases such as multi-site enterprise Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity, secure internet access for branch offices, and communication services for government and municipal entities.
For enterprise and institutional customers, Türk Telekom offers data services, VPNs, and managed network solutions that use IP/MPLS (networking) architectures and carrier-grade transport networks. These services support private connectivity between data centers, offices, and cloud environments, which can be aligned with common enterprise network topologies such as hub-and-spoke or full-mesh designs. The company also offers Ethernet services and leased lines (connectivity) that are used for latency-sensitive applications, core banking links, and interconnection of industrial facilities.
Türk Telekom provides broadband internet access (connectivity) over technologies such as DSL and fiber, which serve both residential and business sites. Enterprises and SMEs use these broadband services as primary or backup internet links and as access underlay for overlay-based Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) deployments sourced from various technology vendors. The fixed and mobile networks support standard internet protocols and are interconnected with domestic and international carriers, enabling global reach for corporate traffic and content delivery.
In addition to connectivity, Türk Telekom offers data center, hosting, and cloud-related services (data center and cloud infrastructure), which typically include colocation, dedicated servers, and virtualized environments. These services allow enterprises and public institutions to host applications and workloads in facilities located within Türkiye, with network proximity to the operator’s backbone. The company also provides managed security and value-added services (security and managed services), which may include firewalling, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, and monitoring aligned with common security architectures based on perimeter and network-layer controls.
Türk Telekom has a portfolio of digital services and content platforms (digital platforms), including IPTV/online TV, entertainment, and communication applications, which run on its broadband and mobile infrastructure. For enterprises and institutions, the group markets unified communications, collaboration, and contact center services (UC and contact center) that can integrate voice, messaging, and customer interaction channels. In the wholesale domain, Türk Telekom supplies capacity, interconnection, and infrastructure services (wholesale telecom) to other operators, over-the-top providers, and international carriers, positioning the company as a core component of Türkiye’s telecom and internet ecosystem.
