Digital Realty Provides ICN10 Colocation Infrastructure for Samsung Electronics
Digital Realty provided enterprise-grade data center infrastructure to Samsung Electronics at its ICN10 data center in Seoul, according to the company. The arrangement matters for Samsung Electronics’ enterprise IT operations because it connects those operations to colocation infrastructure at a specific facility in Korea.
Digital Realty said its ICN10 site was built to support large-scale data processing, high availability requirements, and long-term operational stability. The company also stated that its global platform enables consistent infrastructure standards and operational practices across key metros worldwide.
At ICN10, Digital Realty described power, cooling, security, and operational reliability as part of the facility design for mission-critical enterprise environments. The company also said the ICN10 location in Sangam-dong, Seoul has a maximum IT capacity of 12MW and is its first carrier-neutral data center in Korea.
Digital Realty said it has operated ICN10 in Sangam-dong since 2022 and that the facility uses high-density power architecture and resilient network connectivity. It added that the infrastructure was designed to support Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High performance computing (HPC) workloads.
“Providing enterprise-grade infrastructure at ICN10 reflects Digital Realty’s ability to support large-scale customer environments in Korea,” said Chris High Assurance Network (HAN), Head of Korea at Digital Realty. “We remain committed to delivering stable, high-performance infrastructure that meets the operational needs of global enterprises.”
Digital Realty’s statements included forward-looking comments tied to expectations about its global platform and ICN10 data center in South Korea.
