CrowdStrike receives FedRAMP High Authorization for Falcon platform security

CrowdStrike announced that its Falcon platform has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization. This designation positions the Falcon platform to serve U.S. federal agencies, public sector entities, and critical infrastructure organizations that manage sensitive information and need to protect mission-critical systems against cyber threats.

This authorization addresses the increasing demand for effective cybersecurity solutions as federal systems face growing risks from nation-state and eCrime attackers. With FedRAMP High Authorization, CrowdStrike offers a unified, cloud-native security solution designed to reduce complexity, streamline compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Michael Sentonas, president of CrowdStrike, stated that the Falcon platform integrates endpoint, identity, and cloud workload protection into a single, AI-powered environment, allowing agencies to respond swiftly to threats. The platform has successfully passed third-party security assessments, complying with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s guidelines and covering 26 authorized offerings in various security domains, including endpoint protection and vulnerability management. This consolidation of security capabilities can help federal agencies lower operational costs and eliminate redundant tools.
