Check Point Software Technologies leads in Attack Surface Management with Cyberint acquisition
Cyberint, rebranded as Check Point External Risk Management, offers a comprehensive view of an organization's cyber threats across the open, deep, and dark web.
Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. has emerged as a player in Attack Surface Management (ASM) with its acquisition of Cyberint, according to a recent McKenzie report. Cyberint is positioned in the Maturity/Platform Play quadrant and brings its Attack Surface Monitoring (ASM) expertise to Check Point's External Risk Management solution. This merger combines automated asset discovery and continuous risk monitoring with advanced threat intelligence.
According to Gartner, “by 2026, organizations that prioritize their security investments based on a continuous exposure management program will be 3X less likely to suffer a breach.” The report assessed 29 leading ASM solutions, with analyst Chris Ray noting Cyberint's performance. Ray stated, “Cyberint achieved its Outperformer status thanks to its innovative approach to threat intelligence and robust integration capabilities.”
Check Point's External Risk Management solution is part of the Check Point Infinity Platform, equipping organizations with proactive capabilities to manage their attack surface. It integrates ongoing asset discovery, threat intelligence, and AI-driven prevention, providing real-time visibility and automated risk mitigation.
