PrivacyHawk appoints Steve Blackford as chief marketing officer

PrivacyHawk named Steve Blackford as its new Chief Marketing Officer, tasked with overseeing brand development, growth strategies, and customer engagement during the company’s expansion phase.

The organization addressed increasing consumer concerns around data breaches and digital privacy by strengthening its leadership structure to support market adoption and brand presence.

PrivacyHawk operates an AI-driven platform that identifies and mitigates risks related to personal data exposure by automating the removal of consumer information from numerous corporate databases. Its service also includes identity monitoring, protection, restoration, and insurance, along with a proprietary “Privacy Score” that measures personal data exposure risk.

Founded in 2021, PrivacyHawk holds six issued patents and has additional patents pending. The company offers a free app for privacy scanning and scoring, with premium subscription options providing extended data protection measures.

Steve Blackford brings over ten years of experience from Healthcare Information System (HIS) previous role at LifeLock, part of Gen Digital’s portfolio, where he contributed to customer acquisition efforts for millions of users.
