Huawei claims top spot in global wearable market

Huawei secured the leading position in the global wearable market during the second quarter of 2025, holding a market share of 20.2%. This achievement marks the second consecutive quarter that Huawei has ranked first, as reported by the International Data Corporation (IDC).

The company’s wearable devices have been recognized for their designs and health-related features. Among the highlighted products are the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series with the TruSense system, and the HUAWEI WATCH D2, notable for its wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure monitoring capability. This product has received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration and complies with EU medical device regulations.

Huawei plans to host a product launch event in Paris, France, on September 19, where it will introduce new wearables including the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series, HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, and the HUAWEI WATCH D2. This event is themed “Ride the Wind,” generating anticipation for the new offerings.
