Tenable achieves FedRAMP authorization for Tenable One and Tenable Cloud Security

Tenable has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization at the Moderate impact level for its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform and Tenable Cloud Security. This milestone reinforces the company's focus on enhancing government infrastructure and minimizing cybersecurity risks to support national security.

Tenable's new FedRAMP authorizations enable U.S. federal agencies to unify security visibility and improve their overall security posture from IT to cloud and Operational technology (OT) environments. The company has a long-standing partnership with the government and understands the unique demands of the sector.

According to Bob Huber, chief security officer and president of Tenable Public Sector, LLC, “As a trusted provider to the federal government, Tenable is dedicated to helping agencies advance their mission and modernize their approach to security.” Huber emphasized the importance of this FedRAMP authorization in facilitating the adoption of cloud technologies within government.

Tenable One serves as a cloud-based exposure management platform that consolidates risk assessment and vulnerability insights across diverse assets. It facilitates comprehensive risk management by linking relationships between various security threats.

Tenable Cloud Security aims to enable federal agencies to enhance their cloud infrastructure by addressing security gaps due to misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. The platform acts as a Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) that mitigates risks across cloud systems.
