Sunwave Communications launches all-in-one site at MWC Barcelona
Sunwave Communications launched its All-in-One Site at MWC Barcelona 2026, presenting a packaged unit intended to provide 5G connectivity where conventional infrastructure was limited and rapid network setup was required.
The company described deployment challenges in mining camps, construction sites, large-scale events, and film production locations, citing long construction cycles, high costs, and limited transmission access that often left connectivity timelines misaligned with operational needs.
The All-in-One Site combined satellite backhaul, private 5G, edge computing, and Internet of Things (IoT) components into a single deployable unit, and the company said operators and enterprise users could establish an independent 5G network in 30 minutes to enable faster service activation and coverage in areas with constrained infrastructure.
At the event Sunwave also showcased digital Direct-Attached Storage (DAS) and radio access equipment, including the H3RU and N3 Plus DAS solutions supporting 700–4200 Megahertz (MHz) and up to 46 dBm output on the H3RU, with flexible 4T4R or quad-band Single-Input Single-Output (SISO) options and up to 400 MHz bandwidth per channel; the N3 Plus was a 5 L unit covering 600–4200 MHz with 12 channels, up to five-band Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO), up to 400 MHz per channel, Open Radio Access Network (RAN) (O-RAN) readiness, and energy-saving features. The company presented the nCELL-M base station with up to 37 dBm and a built-in 5G gateway plus a 5G femtocell for compact indoor coverage for homes, offices, and dense indoor environments supporting private and enterprise 5G networks.
“The core value of All-in-One Site lies in extreme integration and rapid delivery. It enables customers to build resilient networks exactly when and where they are needed.” Fan Zhang said.
Sunwave said it continued to deliver solutions for increasingly dynamic connectivity and for how and where networks could be built.
