NVIDIA introduces DGX Cloud Lepton for AI application development

NVIDIA has launched the DGX Cloud Lepton, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform designed to connect developers with numerous GPUs provided by an extensive network of cloud partners. Key participants like CoreWeave, Crusoe, Firmus, Foxconn, GMI Cloud, Lambda, Nebius, Nscale, SoftBank Corp., and Yotta Data Services will offer NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPUs accessible through the platform.

This new offering aims to meet increasing demand for AI, allowing developers to access Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) compute capacity regionally for both on-demand and long-term projects. NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton seeks to streamline access to AI services and GPU resources across the compute ecosystem.

“NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton connects our network of global GPU cloud providers with AI developers,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Together with our NCPs, we’re building a planetary-scale AI factory.”

The platform integrates NVIDIA’s software stack, enhancing the development and deployment of AI applications by providing management tools for cloud providers that automate diagnostics and minimize downtime.

Key features of DGX Cloud Lepton include a unified experience across AI development stages, frictionless deployment for multi-cloud environments, and features that support compliance with data sovereignty. The platform aims to ensure reliable performance and security for users.

NVIDIA also introduced Exemplar Clouds, which utilize NVIDIA’s benchmarking tools to enhance cloud partners' operational performance. Yotta Data Services is noted as the first Asia-Pacific NCP to join this initiative.
