Lastwall partners with Carahsoft to provide quantum-resilient identity protection to public sector

Lastwall and Carahsoft Technology Corp. have established an agreement to extend quantum-resistant identity protection solutions to public sector organizations. This development focuses on deploying unified Zero Trust identity measures applicable to government environments.

The partnership addresses current cybersecurity directives, such as the Department of War's mandate for Zero Trust compliance by 2027 and the federal requirement for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) support by 2030. Identity compromise continues to be the principal vector for cyberattacks, underscoring the necessity for updates to authentication systems in public sector settings.

Lastwall’s IDCommand Suite incorporates a Zero Trust Identity Framework (ZTIF) designed to secure cloud, hybrid, and disconnected environments with integrated quantum-resistant encryption. The suite includes IDCommand Enterprise, which offers cloud-native Zero Trust identity capabilities with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Moderate and DoW IL2 authorizations; IDCommand Tactical, designed for local authentication in low or no connectivity environments; and IDCommand BOLT, which enhances existing identity infrastructure with biometric login support and Quantum Resistant Algorithms (QRA) without requiring full system replacement.

The arrangement designates Carahsoft as the distributor for Lastwall’s IDCommand Suite within the Public Sector, distributing the suite via several procurement contracts including NASA SEWP V, ITES-SW2, NASPO ValuePoint, TIPS, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services, and The Quilt agreements.

Brian O’Donnell, Vice President of Cybersecurity Solutions at Carahsoft, said, “Our partnership with Lastwall will help us deliver secure, quantum-resilient identity solutions to our Government customers. Together with our reseller partners, we look forward to helping agencies modernize authentication, reduce credential risk and advance Zero Trust initiatives in line with new security mandates.” Karl Holmqvist, Founder and CEO of Lastwall, said, “Identity is no longer just an access point. It’s the new frontline in an era where quantum decryption and AI-driven impersonation converge to break what was once unbreakable.”

The organizations indicated that the IDCommand Suite is already accessible to public sector entities through multiple contractual channels facilitated by Carahsoft, providing options for agency adoption aligned with regulatory and operational requirements related to cybersecurity and identity management.
