Gilat DataPath receives over $16 million order from European Ministry of Defense
Gilat DataPath received an order exceeding $16 million to supply multiple DKET 3421 transportable Satellite Communications (Satcom) terminals to a European Ministry of Defense, and the company scheduled deliveries over the following 12 months.
The release said the contract represented Gilat Defense’s first agreement with that ministry and expanded the company’s presence in Europe in support of sovereign defense programs.
The announcement described the DKET 3421 as WGS-certified and 4.2 meters in diameter, with multi-carrier capability and a scalable modem architecture supporting up to 32 modems, and noted the system enabled relocatable, high-throughput connectivity for forward-deployed operations.
Gilat DataPath received the order for multiple DKET 3421 units with a total value of more than $16 million and indicated that shipments were expected to occur across a 12-month delivery window.
“We are proud to support sovereign defense communication programs with secure and relocatable SATCOM infrastructure,” said Nicole Robinson, President, Gilat DataPath. “Our expanding presence across Europe is driven by clear demand for field‑proven systems like our DKET 3421, already relied on by the U.S. Army and Ministries of Defense around the world.”
The release said certain non-historical statements in the document were forward-looking under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 and identified words such as “estimate”, “project”, “intend”, “expect”, and “believe” as indicators of forward-looking statements.
