Console Connect Achieves LSO API Certification from Mplify

Console Connect achieved certification through Mplify’s Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) Application Programming Interface (API) Certification Program, marking a milestone in multi-provider service automation.

The certification program by Mplify, a global alliance focused on accelerating the AI-powered digital economy, helps service providers validate that their API-enabled transactions meet Mplify standards. This expansion includes additional releases and APIs targeted at critical business functions.

Mplify’s LSO API Certification represents the industry’s only initiative that verifies open LSO APIs used for automated, multi-provider service delivery. This program helps reduce integration challenges, facilitating production-ready interoperability crucial for Network as a Service (NaaS) implementations.

Rob Schult, Research Director at TeleGeography, emphasized the importance of standardization in the integration process. “Mplify’s LSO API certification provides a trusted path to interoperability,” Homomorphic Encryption (HE) said. The program aims to streamline integrations and improve time-to-market for service providers.

Key functionalities such as address validation, quoting, and product ordering are encompassed in Mplify’s certification program. Testing is conducted by Amartus, Mplify’s Accredited Test and Certification Partner, ensuring compliance with LSO standards.

Console Connect, under PCCW Global, is noted as the first recipient of the LSO API certification. The company attained certification for four LSO Business APIs, including Address Validation and Product Inventory. It utilized the LSO Adaptor Tool to facilitate integration with the standardized LSO APIs, collaborating closely with Amartus during the certification process.

With this certification, Console Connect provides seamless interoperability between its proprietary APIs and standardized LSO Business APIs, enhancing partner onboarding and service orchestration capabilities.

“Our latest certification with Mplify shows our ongoing commitment to standardized APIs,” said Paul Gampe, CTO at PCCW Global. The certification is a step towards establishing an API-driven connectivity model within the industry.

Mplify’s certification program aims to unify service providers through standardized APIs, thus making automation adoption more straightforward. Pascal Menezes, CTO at Mplify, noted that this program removes integration challenges and fosters trust among service providers.

Mplify plans to exhibit LSO-certified use cases and service models at the upcoming Global Network as a Service (NaaS) Event in Dallas, scheduled for November.
