Celona introduces Celona Orion to unify wireless networks under one fabric
Celona introduced Celona Orion, a converged wireless platform that combines multiple connectivity types for software agents, physical AI systems, and people working alongside them. The update centers on providing a single deterministic, secure fabric that Orion operates as an intelligent participant in an organization’s agentic mesh.
The company framed enterprise wireless networks as having been built to connect people and devices, while Orion responds to new reliability, reach, and security demands described for autonomous robots, computer-vision systems, edge AI devices, and software agents. Celona said deterministic connectivity becomes more critical because machines cannot compensate for latency, jitter, or dropped packets.
Orion unifies private 5G, Wi-Fi, public cellular, and satellite into one fabric. Celona also described an “open, standards-based” approach in Orchestrator AI, which it said exposes network capabilities through interfaces and an extensible library of skills and agents. Orion includes Celona Brain, SIM-based identity, micro-segmentation for operational technology, IT/OT separation, and an in-house software stack delivered through a single trusted supply chain.
Orion combines private 5G and Wi-Fi under one subscription and includes Celona Wi-Fi 7 access points at no additional cost. The platform also integrates Starlink satellite connectivity with private 5G and Wi-Fi and adds Celona AerConnect, an open-source wireless agent for robotics and AI device makers. Celona Orion will be available beginning in Q4 2026, with key capabilities introduced on a phased basis.
