Actelis Networks Receives Order from Local Carrier to Enhance Broadband Connectivity in Oklahoma

Actelis Networks, Inc. has received an order from a telecommunications carrier in Oklahoma to deploy hybrid fiber-copper technology aimed at enhancing broadband connectivity in underserved rural areas. This initiative aligns with the federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program, which focuses on improving internet access for underserved Americans.

The deployment strategy demonstrates the immediate benefits of utilizing hybrid fiber-copper technology over traditional fiber alternatives. By enhancing signal quality over existing infrastructure, the carrier can provide improved broadband services to residents in Osage County and the Ozarks region without the need for extensive fiber buildout, which can be costly and time-consuming.

According to Actelis CEO Tuvia Barlev, leveraging existing infrastructure allows carriers to connect more households efficiently, maximizing the impact of federal funding allocated through the BEAD program. This approach underscores a commitment to addressing the digital divide in challenging geographic areas where traditional deployment methods may not be feasible.
