Analog Devices Opens New Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Thailand
Analog Devices, Inc. opened a new advanced manufacturing facility in Thailand, adding to its manufacturing and test capacity and extending its hybrid model for semiconductor production.
The company described the expansion as part of its manufacturing network in Asia-Pacific, with the Thailand location intended to support flexibility and geographic diversification. The facility sits in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and is described as benefiting from infrastructure and access to skilled engineering talent.
Analog Devices said the plant includes advanced automation, digital manufacturing technologies, and operations optimized for efficiency and environmental performance. The facility was developed in alignment with LEED standards, with the intent to achieve Platinum LEED certification, and it includes 100% renewable electricity, energy-efficient design, water recycling systems, and real-time environmental performance monitoring. The company also said the site adopted low-carbon liquid nitrogen for testing operations.
Analog Devices Thailand (ADTH), established in 2000 in Chonburi, was described as adding cleanroom and manufacturing capacity to scale test, wafer-level processing, chip scale packaging, and final IC test operations. The company said it continues to invest through the ADI Thailand Academy and partnerships with Thai universities, and it referenced expanded internship programs and long-term workforce development.
“Thailand is one of the strategic hubs of ADI's global manufacturing footprint,” said Vincent Roche, CEO and Chair at ADI. “This expansion underscores our long-term commitment to Thailand and the region as key links in our ability to reliably and sustainably deliver our world-class technology. As our customers' needs evolve, our investments ensure we can continue to deliver differentiated innovation at scale.” “The new facility greatly enhances our ability to test operations efficiently and responsibly,” said Vivek Jain, Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Technology at ADI.
