Ambarella launches developer zone for edge AI partners

Ambarella launched the Ambarella Developer Zone to give partners early access to tools and resources for evaluating, building and deploying edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, aiming to simplify partner engagement and development.

The company consolidated documentation, models and community resources into a single entry point intended to reduce friction for system integrators, distributors, module builders, independent software vendors (ISVs) and other global ecosystem partners and to support faster prototyping and integration for a range of vertical industry segments.

The DevZone included a Cooper Model Garden, a learning and onboarding library, and agentic blueprints; the Cooper Model Garden provided a repository of validated, optimized models ready for testing and validation, the learning library contained white papers, blogs, tutorials and sample applications, and the agentic blueprints offered low-code and no-code templates to design multi-agent systems through agentic workflows with Ambarella’s Cooper development software and purpose-built edge AI SoCs.

Ambarella expanded partner access to parts of its software stack through agentic interfaces, sample workflows and development resources, and two ISVs used the DevZone to build and deploy edge AI models to the N1-655 SoC. The DevZone was demonstrated during CES in Las Vegas at Ambarella’s invitation-only exhibition, where attendees saw live demonstrations of the full-stack edge AI platform.

“The edge AI markets we serve are evolving rapidly and our partner ecosystem needs a way to stay ahead of the curve,” said Muneyb Minhazuddin, Customer Growth Officer at Ambarella. “Running the Cogniac platform on the Ambarella Developer Zone gives our teams a powerful way to push the boundaries of what’s possible with edge AI,” said Quinn Curtis, CEO of Cogniac.

Ambarella said the DevZone was intended to support its expansion into the edge AI infrastructure market and to broaden partner access to parts of its software stack.
