Telos Corporation awarded SHIELD IDIQ contract
Telos Corporation was awarded the Missile Defense Agency Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of $151 billion, a contract the company said would allow rapid delivery of capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility.
Telos provides cyber, cloud and enterprise security solutions and described a product set that spanned governance, identity, communications and enrollment services; the company said it served the U.S. federal government, regulated industries, and global enterprises.
The release listed specific capabilities available from Telos, including Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with Xacta, identity and biometric solutions, secure networks and communications, and TSA PreCheck enrollment services.
The award was identified as an IDIQ under the SHIELD program, carried a $151 billion ceiling, and covered a broad range of work areas intended to accelerate the delivery of capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility.
