ISC2 updates advanced cybersecurity certifications ISSAP, ISSEP, and ISSMP

ISC2 announced updates to its advanced cybersecurity certifications, ISSAP, ISSEP, and ISSMP, featuring new exam outlines and AI-driven adaptive training. These enhancements are designed to meet current industry needs and assist professionals in expanding their cybersecurity knowledge.

The updates were informed by Job Task Analysis (JTA) and contributions from global experts, ensuring exam content addresses the latest cybersecurity challenges. The revised exam outlines help candidates grasp the essential knowledge necessary for effective leadership within their specializations.

Casey Marks, Chief Operating Officer of ISC2, noted that the updates reflect ISC2's ongoing effort to keep its certification programs relevant. The new AI-assisted adaptive training offers a personalized learning experience tailored to individual progress for those preparing for the revised exams.

Cost management strategies for the updated training include reductions of up to 66% for ISC2 members, aiming to enhance access to advanced cybersecurity education. Eligibility for these certifications requires candidates to possess a CISSP or have significant full-time experience in related fields.
