Infosys collaborates with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools for digital transformation.

Infosys and Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) have established a partnership aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies through digital transformation. The initiative involves the integration of Situational Awareness Platform (SAP) S/4HANA Cloud alongside other enterprise platforms to optimize data management for around 300 schools, focusing on user experience improvements.

The implementation will help MACS modernize core Emergency Response Plan (ERP) systems, creating a more streamlined administrative process and facilitating real-time data access. The initiative aims to foster a unified digital workspace that supports role-based access, encouraging collaboration and enhancing communication within the educational community.

Edward Simons, Executive Director of MACS, remarked on the challenges of establishing effective digital systems, stating, “Getting digital system foundations right is complex detailed work, and it requires deep, specialist expertise.” Vicki Russell, Chief Technology and Transformation Officer, added that the modernization efforts will enable MACS to better assist school communities, highlighting the role of Infosys in aligning educational outcomes with operational excellence.

Peter Moore, Head of Partner Ecosystem at SAP Asia Pacific, discussed the complexity surrounding MACS' operations and how cloud solutions will streamline processes, positioning the organization to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) more effectively. Raja Shah, EVP at Infosys, commented on MACS' digital transformation vision and the collaborative role of Infosys in this endeavor.
