Broadcom Introduces New CloudHealth User Experience for Enhanced Cloud Spend Management

Broadcom has introduced a new user experience for VMware Tanzu CloudHealth, featuring Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools aimed at improving management of cloud spending. These updates include Intelligent Assist, an AI chatbot for natural language insights, and Smart Summary for better analysis of cloud cost changes. The enhancements seek to support cooperation among FinOps teams and broaden the accessibility of cloud financial management tools.

Product Update

The redesigned CloudHealth experience responds to the increased requirements placed on FinOps teams, as detailed in the recent State of FinOps 2025 report. Intelligent Assist enables users, irrespective of technical expertise, to utilize CloudHealth's features more effectively, while Smart Summary provides insights necessary for managing and understanding cost variations.

Purnima Padmanabhan, general manager of the Tanzu Division at Broadcom, conveyed satisfaction at the launch, highlighting that the new functionalities enhance collaboration and informed decision-making regarding cloud expenditure. Additionally, Broadcom has partnered with Arrow Electronics to expand CloudHealth on a global scale, which will provide sales and technical support to enhance customer engagement.
